Wire rope torsion can be caused by improper alignment of lift stations and towers and can dramatically reduce the lifespan of wire ropes, grips and sheaves.

 

WRS’s rope torsion measurement system includes a fully computerized rotary sensor that is installed quickly and easily on any haul rope and measures the rotation of entire rope length.

 

WRS is uniquely qualified to detect, assess, localize and improve misaligned problem areas along the entire lift line. This results in a longer lifespan of the wire rope, the grips and the sheaves.
